 It was finally resumption day, girls looked pretty and boys looked handsome, everyone was looking fresh because it was resumption! Michelle said her prayers shortly before leaving the house. Her father drove her to school. "If you do so well this term, we'll go for a vacation to a very wonderful place, and make sure you avoid Boy-Drama" Her father adjusted her necktie. She smiled on hearing the word "vacation" , their last vacation was to United Kingdom, it was 3 years ago, Michelle had smashed her BECE ( Basic Education Certificate Examination) she had all Distinctions! "Father, I cross my chest, I promise I'd do well this term, and I'll do my best to avoid troubles" she said blinking her lashes in a mischievous way. She gave him a warm hug and opened the car door, she swayed her waist as she walked.  "Hey, Henry how are you?" She smiled mischievously. "I'm calm, why are you avoiding me? You wanted to slip away" He smiled back.  "Dad, meet Henry a classmate" Michelle said . They exchanged pleasantries and went away. Her father kept teasing her . Henry went home and "just a classmate" kept ringing bells in his head. He was just restless and picked up his phone to text Michelle, on a second thought, he changed his mind and decided to call her.  He wanted to really know what was in Michelle's mind. "Hello, Henry" her voice came from the other end. Henry became tensed and was smiling all through, the young man couldn't muster courage to say a word . "Hello , Henry, are you there?" Her voice came again. "Oh, yes Michelle, please could I meet with you tomorrow? I really want to discuss something important with you" He finally dropped the bombshell.  The holiday was a brief one.  Henry's Mum, was all he had. He had no father. His mom was extremely glad, you're certainly going to make me proud, my Professor. Yes, she always called him a professor. Henry's dad was a college teacher and his mother wanted him to follow that path. He vowed to get an outstanding degree in Mathematics. It would be easy for him, besides he was a very smart student. On Christmas day, he visited an orphanage with his mum and gifted the children. All through the holiday, he kept calling and texting Michelle. He was serious and eager to date her. "Michelle, I'll certainly marry you. You're my full spec. And you're really smart too, we'll make smart children" . Michelle laughed uncontrollably, they were just a bunch of crazy teenagers.  Meanwhile, Sarah had a very terrible holiday, her step mum made it horrible for her.  The chapel prefect led the school in a soul-searching worship. The assistant chapel prefect now led in praises. It was the last praise section for the term and the year so the junior students were found doing so much. The school's chaplain now took over . The tune of "Joy! To the world" was heard even in the next building. Truly, there was joy. The principal climbed up the podium to give her farewell speech. She called upon the dean of studies to call out the students who would be awarded . The dean of studies started from the junior classes. It was now ss3's turn. Everyone was waiting impatiently. Would it be Henry, Michelle or Sarah. The whole school was anxious. Some said "It's going to be Henry" . Others said "I'm rooting for senior Sarah" and some people said "How will it be Henry?  Michelle slept without struggle or putting in efforts. She had a dream. In that very dream, Sarah had tried to cut her hair. "Does that witch have a death wish "? She cussed aloud immediately she woke up from the nightmare. It's so unfortunate for me to start having dreams about this crazy girl. And of all dreams I could have, it has to be a dream about her cutting my hair. Crazy girl, crazy dream! She exclaimed.  She got ready quickly, their results had been successfully uploaded on the school website, it was time for her to know who the crown fits. Is it gonna fit her, Henry, or Sarah? She was in Deep thoughts as she brushed her teeth.  They were all expected to assemble in school today despite the fact that the term was already over. She scooped the hot pasta hurriedly into her mouth and ended up having burns in her lower lip. Ouch! She  screamed as she applied her lip gloss.  She put on her dress which she had ironed with much zeal and passion. She knew tha...

 The Christmas party soon came to an end. It was a huge success. Sarah had immediately rushed to the restroom to make sure no one would see her crying. Her awful plan came out really messed up. She wished the ground would open up and swallow her , when Michelle was introduced to the school as the prom queen. She felt like her whole world had crumbled most especially as she saw Henry stretch out his hand to grab Michelle's. Sarah had so much admired Henry. She really wished she was the one in Michelle's place.  Meanwhile, Michelle smiled all through the program thinking of a perfect harmless revenge she would pull on Sarah. Michelle waved endlessly all through the program. The program was soon over. It's time for me to return the shoe. When she had undressed back to her school uniform, she began looking for Henry so she could return the heels. She found him amongst junior students who were congratulating him. Immediately she approached, the juniors fled  . Thanks a lot. Sh...
