Due to the lapse in federal funding, some government websites we link to may not be updated. Those sites may also not be able to respond to questions or process any requests until funding is restored.
If you need help with your application, call the FEMA Helpline at 1-800-621-3362, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET, 7 days a week. If you use a video relay service (VRS), captioned telephone (CTS), or other service, give FEMA the number you use for that service.
If you need help with errors or other technical problems with the site, call the Internet Help Desk at 1-800-745-0243, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. EST, 7 days a week. The help desk can't help with your application. You must call the FEMA Helpline for that.
When you apply for FEMA assistance, you can use your online account to receive updates on your application and upload documents requested by FEMA.
If you haven’t created one, you can create one anytime:
You can find a record of what documents you sent and when you sent them under Upload History in the menu. (It may take up to 10 days for documents to appear.)
For faster updates, you can also choose to get email notifications instead of postal mail. Email notifications help you get information sooner and stay informed about your application. You can update this preference at any time in your account.
If you need help to access your account, visit our Frequently Asked Questions or call 1-844-875-6446.
