Shuigeng Zhou is a tenured full professor at the College of Computer Science and Artificial IntelligenceFudan University. He leads the research group of Advanced Data and Machine Intelligence Systems (ADMIS). He was the director (Sept. 2018 – May 2024) and vice-director (2004 to Aug. 2018) of Shanghai Key Lab of Intelligent Information Processing (SKLIIP), Fudan University. He held the post of Vice Chairman (in charge of research affairs) of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Fudan University, from January 2005 to May 2008. In May 2008, the CSE Department was merged into the School of Computer Science, which was renamed as the current name in April 2025.

Shuigeng Zhou received his Bachelor Degree of Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in July 1988, his Master Degree of Engineering from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in March 1991, and his PhD of Computer Science from Fudan University in July 2000. He served in Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology from April 1991 to August 1997, as an engineer and a senior engineer (since August 1995) respectively. Before joining Fudan University, he was a post-doctoral researcher in Wuhan University from August 2000 to August 2002.
