Tuition and Fees
As a non-profit organization, the American International School of Yanbu (AISY) is funded predominantly by tuition and fees. General tuition and fees ensure the continued quality of the school’s programs. All funds are used to operate the school, provide the best education and resources reasonably possible, and to prepare for the school’s future needs. Tuition amounts include textbooks, classroom assessments/reporting, and PSAT assessments.

Tuition for Special Services
In addition to tuition, AISY may require additional services to further the success of a scholar. The offer of enrollment maybe contingent on the acceptance of one or more services.
Tuition Refunds
Tuition refunds will be issued for unattended semesters by any scholar. Attendance of one week or more in a semester will negate eligibility for any refund for that semester.
Enrollment Fees for New Scholars
The following fees are assessed one time to all new scholars and are non-refundable. These one-time Enrollment Fees are not included in tuition. A new scholar is considered to be any child who is either new to AISY, or is re-enrolling after not attending AISY for a period of one year.
* All applicant must pay the assessment/processing fee of 500 SAR.
Seat Deposit
For each returning scholar, a SAR 4,000 seat deposit which will be applied towards the tuition will be due by February 14, 2026. Seat deposits are refundable at any time before May 1, 2026 by submitting withdrawal forms to the Admissions Office (School Registrar). Scholars who do not pay the seat deposit fee will not be guaranteed a seat for the following year and will have to reapply. Seats with a seat deposit paid but with unpaid tuition will be held until the 3rd day of the following school year.
Other Student Fees
The following is a list of additional fees that are typically incurred throughout the year. Fees for lost or stolen textbooks/library books, SAT assessments, trips abroad and/or associated with sporting events, and school supplies are not included as their prices vary.
AISY will provide bus (pick and drop off) at 5,300 SAR + VAT.
Are the fees permanent?
This is not a temporary discount or a short-term promotional rate. It is our new base tuition structure moving forward (26-27 Tuition Fees). We want to reassure families that tuition will not return to the previous rates next year. Any future tuition adjustments would remain subject to Ministry of Education regulations, including the annual limit on increases, and cannot simply revert to prior pricing in a single year. The Ministry’s tuition fee regulations also require schools to set and register fees in advance through the official tuition fee framework.
Please note: A 2.5% late payment fee will be applied monthly to outstanding unpaid balances.
In compliance with current regulations in KSA, tuition and fees are subject to the VAT Tax 15%. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to adjust all the above-mentioned tuition and fees.
*VAT will not be applicable to Saudi students
Tuition fees may be increased annually by up to a maximum of 5%, subject to approval by the Board of Trustees.
