Breathe in calm, breathe out chaos – in a just a few minutes a day. Mindfulness app Inly offers short, guided breathing meditations that aim to melt away stress, sharpen focus and restore balance.
Its immersive visuals, soothing soundscapes and customisable UI allow you to choose the sights and sounds you find the most relaxing – and you can personalise your experience further with a subscription. Here are a few of our favourite features to help you get started. Happy unwinding!
Find sessions for specific goals
Inly’s guided breathing sessions have all been designed to support a specific goal, whether that’s reducing stress, improving focus or cultivating a sense of calm.
Unwind, for example, uses slow, deep breathing patterns to relax your body and quieten your thoughts. Each inhale brings calm; each exhale dials down stress. Spark Focus, meanwhile, aims to reignite your energy and sharpen your clarity. It blends steady breaths with short holds to boost alertness and concentration. To explore the sessions, open the app and swipe up.

Enjoy soothing soundscapes
Imagine standing by a tranquil lagoon at dusk, listening to the gentle lapping of waves mingling with the faint hum of the evening air. This is Laguna – one of the many relaxing soundscapes you can pair with your meditation.
There are plenty of soundscapes to try, including the slow and dreamy MoonIvy and the warm, pulsing Velora. Each sound is meticulously designed to help you find the perfect rhythm for your mind and body, enhancing your meditation experience. Tap the icon in the top-right of the screen, followed by the music-note icon to browse the options.
Make your practice stick
To help you maintain your practice, Inly offers reminders to pause, reflect and breathe. Tap the clock icon on the bottom of the screen to set the time and frequency of reminders you’d like the app to send you. Inly includes a habit-tracking widget to make it easier to stay consistent, too.
You can also choose your session lengths – opt to unwind for, say, two minutes rather than 20, if that’s better for your schedule – to make carving out time to reset, recharge and reconnect with yourself feel as achievable as possible.
