Grandpa Chip has been bot-napped! In Tiny Robots: Portal Escape, you’ll save the old bucket of bolts by manipulating buttons and levers inside escape-room-style 3D dioramas. Each move could lead to a useful tool – such as a drill to dig a hole on a mysterious moon – or help you assemble laser helmets and missile launchers to take on big bosses. Demolish a robot T. rex? No problem!
What we love: The wild locations. Load and fire a cannon to blow up a pirate robot on his ship. Detach a steam locomotive so a robo-sheriff can catch up to the bot bandits inside. Grandpa Chip’s portals blip you to all kinds of weird alternate realities. You never know what’s coming next!
Quick tip: Tap absolutely everything. Key items such as gears and fuses could be hiding under a pile of snow, beneath a rock, even inside a coconut. If you’re stuck, do the mini-game puzzle (identified by a Wi-Fi icon) to be pointed in the right direction.
