DEVELOPER SHOWCASE

Meet Clover-Fi Games

Get to know the propagator of Window Garden.

Clover-Fi Games started as a hobby during the pandemic for Filippino game developer Camilla Santiago, and it soon turned into a full-time pursuit. From teaming up with fellow hobbyist friends for music production to leading her very own team, Santiago continues to grow both her studio and player base with care.

What they’re known for

Their relaxing, cosy first game Window Garden, where players tend to their own little patch of greenery, unwind to a low-fi soundtrack and add creative touches to their rooms with whimsical decor.

Behind the scenes

• One of the decor items, an egg, started as a fun suggestion from the community, and has now become one of the most popular items in Window Garden. Players love stocking up on eggs and hiding them in their gardens like little Easter eggs, asking other community members to find them. Some even end up building entire egg towers!

• During UFO Month in July, players can add a cow figurine and a UFO lamp as part of the decor. Seeing players get creative making little abduction scenes in their gardens brings the developers a lot of joy.

• One of Window Garden’s players found a powerful way to tell a story through game items. One of her rooms is a messy bathroom symbolising neglect. Another is filled with cooking, baking and reading items reflecting her path to healing. This player’s garden became a deeply personal space where she could embrace her journey of renewal.
