Teamwork triumphs in Rainbow Six Mobile

Kit up and move out: it’s time to put your squad’s teamwork to the test. Rainbow Six Mobile continues the tense multiplayer competition and tight tactical skill of the long-running action series.

Choose the best Operator for the job, coordinate your approach to the objective and use every tool and ability at your disposal to ensure you claim victory.

Right tools for the job

Every match in Rainbow Six Mobile pits two five-person teams against each other. In each round, you’re given an objective to either attack or defend; complete your goal or outlast the other team to advance one point towards winning. Then, you’ll swap with your opponents to see how you fare on the other side.

Maps provide plenty of places in which to outflank and ambush your rivals at close-quarters. As Attackers, you’ll have a limited amount of time to scope out the environment and scan your enemies using nimble remote-controlled drones – make use of helpful vents to quickly traverse the layout before moving in. Remember to check those corners!

Master your gadgets to seek out enemies, lay traps and bring your team to victory.

Defenders can use that same time to take up advantageous positions and lay obstacles in their opponents’ path. With booby traps, barbed wire and the ability to reinforce walls and barricade doors in your toolkit, to name just a few, every round is open to shifting tactics and ways to triumph.

Careful planning and fast reactions (customise your touch control layout or connect a controller for even sharper inputs) are needed in equal measure as the action heats up.

Smooth operators

It’s not just the tools that are important here, but who’s using them. Each of your Operators has unique skills and equipment.

Sledge, for example, can create entirely new routes by smashing through weaker surfaces with a mighty blow of his Breaching Hammer. Valkyrie’s Black Eye Camera helps Defenders keep track of their rivals by deploying a sticky surveillance device. When things get hairy, you’ll want to be packing some extra protection from Rook’s Armour Pack – just mind that enemy players don’t steal some of the plates for themselves!

Find the Operators that fit your favourite way to play, and try different team load-outs to discover combinations that keep your foes on their toes. Playing matches earns Operator XP (experience points) and increases the Mastery of each character you use, which allows you to access more powerful equipment.

With more than 25 Operators to unlock using the in-game currency Renown – earned by advancing in each in-game season’s Battle Pass (Rainbow Six Siege fans will spy some familiar faces here) – experimenting and perfecting your squad’s make-up is part of the thrill.
