Job description

Groupe Desgagnés, recognized for its expertise and leadership in the field of maritime transportation and related services, continues its transformation to strengthen its quality and optimization standards. To support this evolution and ensure a solid, modern management framework aligned with best practices, we are seeking a Quality and Integrated Management System (IMS) Advisor who will play a key role in developing and deploying our corporate strategy in quality and operational performance.

At the heart of the organization, you will act as an expert of the Integrated Management System (IMS) for the entire group. You will be responsible for the governance, facilitation, and cross-functional management of the IMS, ensuring consistency, effectiveness, and engagement among the various stakeholders. As a true driver of our continuous improvement approach, you will work closely with the IMS representatives of the business units, supporting them as a trusted partner.

If you enjoy working in a stimulating environment, contributing to building a strong quality culture, and leaving your mark within a group where projects have a real impact, this role is for you. At Desgagnés, you will find a committed organization, a meaningful mission, and a playground that matches your ambitions.

What awaits you

You are stepping into a newly created position, at the heart of a system in development – an ideal environment for someone who enjoys building, structuring, and leaving their mark. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a modern, evolving IMS aligned with best practices, while benefiting from great autonomy and your manager’s trust.

As the system evolves, you will help implement tools, structure processes, improve team understanding, and add your personal touch to the role. The challenges are many, but all exciting: the organization is transforming, developing its tools, and structuring its quality—and you will be at the center of this dynamic.

If you enjoy supporting, positively influencing, and contributing to the organizational maturity growth, you will feel right at home from day one.

What we expect from you

We expect you to be the facilitator, unifier, and coordinator who brings our corporate quality approach to life. You will be the person who understands, simplifies, and makes ISO standards and management processes accessible for teams that may not always have this expertise—and that’s exactly where your interpersonal skills will make a difference.

We see you as someone who enjoys talking to people, explaining, repeating, reassuring, structuring—in short, someone who relies on human relationships to move things forward. You will translate issues into clear actions, lead working groups, energize the IMS community, and support quality representatives in each business unit.

Your curiosity and ability to “learn how to learn” will be essential: the role is more focused on processes, system routines, documentation, performance monitoring, and claims—not project management. Your credibility will come from your human approach, your ability to navigate political issues, your judgment, and your ease in making information simple and coherent. If you have experience with ISO systems, facilitating groups, or working with process maps, you’re already ahead.
