Dwelling Point Church Involvement Areas

1. Dream Team (Volunteers)

The Dream Team is made up of all general volunteers who serve in different areas of the ministry.

Every role that helps our church function—hospitality, worship, setup, outreach, etc.—is part of the Dream Team.

Dream Team members also attend Team Sundays every week at 10:45 AM, except on the weekends when we host Awake Austin or Awake San Marcos Nights.

2. Core Team (Leaders)

The Core Team consists of all leaders who oversee Dream Team areas.

These leaders are responsible for guiding, equipping, and developing Dream Team members.

Core Team members attend Team Sundays every week at 10:45 AM, except on Awake weekends, and play a vital role in preparing Dwelling Point Church for full launch.

3. Dwelling Point Members (General Attendees)

General members are welcome to participate in Awake Austin and Awake San Marcos Nights (once a month) as well as Dwelling Point Mixers.

These opportunities are available until our church fully launches (date TBD).

Members do not serve in volunteer or leadership roles but are part of our Dwelling Point family and community.

Important Note:

On the Sundays when we host Awake Austin or Awake San Marcos Nights, there are no Team Sunday servicesin the morning.

We do not believe that under the New Covenant people are cursed for not tithing, but we do believe there is power, freedom, and spiritual alignment in honoring God with the first tenth of our income.

Tithing is not about legalism—it’s about lordship. It reflects our trust in God as our provider and positions the church to fulfill its mission. As we prepare to launch, we are praying for a Dream Team committed to 100% generosity, knowing that without it, we will not be a healthy or effective ministry.
