Invest in the Future of Education Leadership
Your donation helps build a more diverse, representative, and equity-driven education workforce—from the classroom to the district office.

Through initiatives like the Charlotte Hawkins Brown Fellows, Jeanes Fellows, Educational Equity Fellowship, and Flood Center Internship Program, we’ve supported over 50 early-career educators, graduate students, and aspiring superintendents of color. These leaders are designing community-rooted equity projects, influencing policy conversations, and gaining the tools to lead transformational change in schools and systems across North Carolina.

  • Jeanes Fellows have implemented equity initiatives in 7 NC school districts.
  • Interns have helped analyze data, co-author reports, and support key program efforts.
  • Equity Fellows have conducted policy research and strengthened the Center’s advocacy voice.
  • Charlotte Hawkins Brown Fellows are building networks and leadership capacity in their first years of teaching.

Your support sustains and grows this pipeline of changemakers. Make a gift today.

Support School Systems That Work for All Students
We work side-by-side with educators, schools, and districts to ensure access and opportunity for every student through practice and policy.

Your support strengthens initiatives like the Equity Profiles Dashboard, a public tool launched in 2023 that equips leaders with real-time data to address disparities in discipline, access, and outcomes. We’ve also delivered equity-centered coaching and technical assistance to 13 school districts in Eastern NC—supporting hundreds of educators in applying research to practice.

Fund the tools and coaching that turn equity into action.

Create Spaces That Inspire Collective Action
With your support, we bring together students, educators, and community leaders to share ideas, build solidarity, and take action toward educational justice.

At events like the Color of Education Summit, we’ve convened over five-thousand participants, elevated student voice through our Student Voices podcast, and facilitated 9 Mapping the Movement convenings uniting more than 100 organizations across the state.

Your gift makes these transformative spaces possible.
