Christmas Help Program 2025
Hartford Lending Hands Inc. — Serving Connecticut Families Since 2013

This year, the need in our community is overwhelming.

Our Christmas Help Program received 103 families on our main list and 23 families on our waitlist still hoping to be placed.
So far, only 38 families have matched with a Secret Santa — leaving many children with no sponsor yet.

What makes this year especially challenging is the size of the families reaching out to us.
Some households have 5 children and up, which means:

More gifts needed
Higher costs
Fewer chances of being chosen
A greater emotional impact if they are left without help

When a large family is not matched, all of those children risk waking up to an empty Christmas.

We are raising funds to make sure that does not happen.

Your support will help us:

Buy gifts for children ages 0–16
Assist large families that Secret Santas cannot fully cover
Provide backup gifts for unmatched and waitlisted families
Make sure no child feels forgotten this Christmas

Suggested Gift Amounts:

$25 — Stocking stuffers for one child
$50 — Toy, book, or winter item
$100 — Supports two children
$150 — Helps a family with 2–3 kids
$250 — Helps a large family with 5+ children
Any amount is deeply appreciated
