Hello my name is Shaleah, and im starting this fundraiser because I finished and graduated school as an electrician technician. As I was starting to get to work I was assaulted and touched by this man that started his own business in the field, and he needed my help as an apprentice. It was my first day on the job after my birthday December 12th. I was so excited to finally get to work and finally prove to my family that I’ve matured and finally getting my life together after being jobless for two years. Ive applied to so many places and just kept getting turned down, im starting to feel hopeless in making money, and I’ve never made anymore than $1000 in my whole life and im 27, my story is very long and there’s so much more as to why I haven’t been able to keep a job for long or at least have a decent income because I’ve always had to move states due to being an activist and the black sheep of the family, nobody agrees with my moral outlook and, my family doesn’t like supporting me so I can finally get on my feet. I have student debt because I was also forced to go to college knowing i didn’t have the money to even support myself. I live with my grandma and her white husband , and I’ve come to terms with the fact that she’s a MAGA supporter and she’s literally dark brown indian. She doesn’t believe what’s going on in the world and thinks it’s fake. I believe her husband has twisted her thinking into believing and thinking it’s ok to do what ICE is doing to people. She doesn’t even believe that she’s a target when she’s an immigrant born in Belize just because she has her green card, but I need to get out of this living situation as well. I love my grandma and hopefully one day she’ll wake up but for right now, as an activist and a whistle blower I pray my fellow activist could help me out in my situation and I’ll support the people who support me with the truth and also my protection.
