We are Team Tippy Topper. A group of 15 passionate undergraduate students in UCF School of Visual Arts and Design’s 2022 Character Animation cohort. For almost two years we have devoted ourselves to creating this short film that will premiere in spring 2022. Unfortunately as undergraduate students, we do not receive a budget from the university to produce our film. That’s where we need your help! Your donations will help us make Tippy Topper the best it can be and push us one step closer to achieving our goals after graduation!

 

Where is your money going?

 

 

 

Your generous donations will help us pay for the cost of production for film festival submissions and our premiere debut. Our expenses will go to our sound designer, festival submissions, and premiere. Entering into festivals will allow the film to gain recognition by industry professionals and larger studios, thus creating more job opportunities for each team member! The rest will be put towards giving our supporters some rewards as a thank you for supporting us and our dreams!

The Tippy Topper Story

 

Set in a massive futuristic food factory, Tippy Topper follows our protagonist Philip, a fledgling Jello obsessed with keeping his toppings in perfect condition, often at the expense of his own safety. When he gets a little too curious about his surroundings, his obsession sends him on the adventure of a lifetime.

 

 

 

 

He is chased by Dex 221, or Dex for short, a mechanical arm that oversees the factory. When he encounters Philip, he becomes an ominous presence fixed on getting Phil back in his place so the factory can operate according to plan.

 

 

 

 

In our story, we explore the theme of pursuing goals through unfamiliar territory. Despite the terrors that Philip faces, he makes the choice to continue on in the face of adversity.

 

 

 

Pulling from slapstick style comedy we use rubber hose movements and visual gags to help push our story forward in a light hearted way.
