We are excited to announce our return for Notting Hill Carnival 2026, which marks its 60th anniversary! To celebrate this significant milestone, we are planning an even larger historic billboard takeover.

I'm pleased to share that I have secured two neighbouring billboards, as pictured. Our intention is to honour the founding mothers of Notting Hill Carnival, Rhaune Laslett and Claudia Jones. This initiative continues our mission to tell the historical story of NHC on the roads of Notting Hill Carnival and during Notting Hill Carnival. Last year, we honoured Kelso Cochrane, a catalyst for the Carnival; next year, we shift our focus to the founders.

The total cost for both billboards is £5,313.80 (excluding VAT). This GoFundMe campaign is dedicated to funding one of these billboards; I will provide updates on the second billboard separately. As with last year, we will host an unveiling gathering closer to Carnival, and details will be announced in due course. Please note that my co-founder/graphic designer and I do not profit from this activation; it is a project driven purely by passion.
