If it’s your first time visiting, my name is Barbara. I created this page to help me fund my Master’s in Psychology at Birkbeck, University of London.

The total cost of the programme is £21,690, and by 30th September, I need £2,190 to cover the first instalment. At the moment, I am in the middle of the visa process, which should be completed around the time my course begins.

Why Psychology?

This has been a dream of mine for a long time. Over the past months, I’ve connected deeply with my purpose of helping people. Too often, we grow up believing things about ourselves that aren’t true, which makes life harder than it needs to be.

I want to be someone who helps others break free from unworthy feelings and from dark places like depression and anxiety. I know first-hand how much it means to have support during difficult times, and I want to dedicate my life to becoming that support for others.

Mental health is serious, and we need to keep talking about it. By studying Psychology, I’ll be taking the first step towards making a real difference.

(28/07/25) Hello, my name is Barbara, and I’ve just been accepted into a Master’s programme in Psychology in London — a dream I’ve carried in my heart for many years.

This is more than just a degree. It’s my chance to return to the city I call home and finally walk the path I believe I was always meant to follow. But I need your help to make it happen.

As an international student, I have this significant financial challenge, and that’s why I’m asking for your support — whether by donating, sharing, or simply sending good energy my way.

I’m a Brazilian woman who, at 33 years old, is starting over again, after deciding to leave everything behind to pursue a better, truer life.

This year, life threw me into a deep transformation. I lost my job, faced uncertainty, and began a healing journey that reconnected me with my purpose. In May, I finally applied for something I’ve always wanted: to study Psychology.

I’ve always felt a powerful connection with women, fashion, and the ways we express who we are. Now, I understand that I want to help others reconnect with their truth and build lives that feel good inside and out.

This Master’s is the next chapter — not just for me, but for the people I hope to help in the future.
