The Olivia Camilla online bookstore is the brain child of a mother and daughter duo with a shared love of reading. After being approached by her daughter, Savana (middle name Olivia) about wanting to open her own bookstore, Denise (middle name Camilla), who also had thoughts of the same, decided to take the next steps in forming the online storefront. The funds will be used to support the start up costs for most of the first year of business, including: business license and registration, website creation and maintenance, logo design and stationery, shipping materials, bookkeeping software subscription, and of course book inventory! The online bookstore's  primary goal is to highlight books for children and young adolescents written and/or illustrated by Black and Brown writers and artists. To support this campaign means not only supporting a mother and daughter team in their dream of sharing their favorite pieces of literature with world, but also shows support for the array of talented Black and Brown creatives whose voices are often overlooked. Our goal is to have a soft launch event of the online storefront in December 2020, with a full public launch in January of 2021. Both my daughter and I would be supremely grateful for your support.
