The Goal
I am raising funds to build a permanent, off-grid tiny home and storage building on my property. My goal is simple but life-changing: to escape the cycle of rising rents and achieve long-term financial stability through self-sufficiency.

Why Now?
Currently, I am navigating unemployment. In today’s economy, rent eats up every available resource, making it impossible to save or move forward. I’ve realized that I cannot "rent" my way out of this situation. I need a solution that eliminates my largest monthly expenses—housing and utilities—forever.

The Plan: Sustainability & Sweat Equity
I am not asking for a finished luxury home; I am asking for the raw materials to build a life with my own two hands. This project is designed to be entirely off-grid to ensure I am never burdened by utility bills I can’t afford.
  • The Tiny Home: A modest, well-insulated structure built for longevity.
  • The Storage Building: This will house my tools and, most importantly, my water system.
  • Off-Grid Power: A solar array to provide consistent, clean energy.
  • Gravity-Fed Water: I will be installing a gravity-fed system to provide running water to the home without the need for expensive electric pumps.

Where the Money Goes
Every dollar raised goes directly into materials. Because I am providing the labor myself, your donation stretches much further:
  • Lumber & Hardware: Framing, roofing, and siding.
  • Energy: Solar panels, battery bank, and inverter.
  • Water: Cistern tank, filtration, and plumbing for the gravity-fed system.
  • Foundation & Insulation: Ensuring the home is safe and weather-proof.

The Impact
By supporting this project, you aren't just helping me build a roof over my head; you are helping me build a foundation. Once my housing costs are zeroed out, I can focus on finding the right work and contributing back to my community without the constant threat of housing insecurity.
