What is Arch City?

Arch City is a publication focused first and foremost on showcasing the art of Black and Queer individuals of the Drag, Burlesque, and Art community in and outside of Ohio. There’s a huge lack of information on many of the Black and outwardly gender queer community members that built the proverbial dance floor we’ve all taken to, and I’m not leaving the archiving of our time on the floor to chance. It’s a group project, after all!

Secondly, Arch City is focused on uplifting art and artists of those same minority demographics off of the stage. Traditional, digital, music, fashion, poetry, and all matters of mediums we’ve yet to have the pleasure of enjoying yet must too be preserved. All of our art is part of one big network telling the larger story of us.
