Tell Congress: Stop the SAVE America Act
Tell Congress: Stop the SAVE America Act
**The SAVE America Act, despite its name, would do nothing to make our elections safer. Instead, this extreme legislation would put up barriers for millions of eligible voters to register and cast their ballot.** This bill would require strict proof of citizenship, such as a passport or birth certificate, documents that millions of Americans don’t have access to. SAVE presents more barriers for low-income voters and voters from marginalized communities to participate in our elections. It would especially burden military voters, tribal voters, rural voters, transgender voters, survivors of natural disasters, and tens of millions of married women in America who have changed their names. **This isn’t about protecting elections, it’s about silencing voters.** There is no healthy planet without a healthy democracy and our voting rights are on the line. **Sign the petition to tell your representatives to vote NO on SAVE 2.0!**
Tell Your Member of Congress: Stop Increasing Our Costs
Tell Your Member of Congress: Stop Increasing Our Costs
Across the country, families are paying more. For residential electricity and gas, for insurance, for health care, for housing…the list goes on. These rising costs aren’t abstract, and they aren’t accidental. They are the result of a series of policy choices by the Trump Administration and Republicans in Congress that have shifted the costs of dirty energy, pollution, and climate damage onto families, workers, and taxpayers, while handing out giveaways and cutting taxes for billionaires and corporate polluters yet again. We have the solution to bring down energy costs--it's investing in clean energy which is the cheapest and fastest energy to deploy. **Tell your Member of Congress to put our communities first, before billionaires and big corporations, and invest in affordable clean energy.**
Demand Philly City Council Enhance Enforcement Against Illegal Dumping
Demand Philly City Council Enhance Enforcement Against Illegal Dumping
Illegal dumping in Philadelphia is a growing crisis that harms our neighborhoods. Overflowing trash and hazardous waste create unsafe conditions, attract pests, and pollute our waters. We urge the Philadelphia City Council to enhance enforcement across the city and implement preventative measures. **Add your name to demand immediate action to clean up our communities and hold illegal dumpers accountable.** The more voices we unite, the harder it will be to ignore this issue.
