Eco-Runner Team Delft is a non-profit, multidisciplinary student team at Delft University of Technology, that focuses on developing efficient cars powered by sustainable fuels. Every year, a new car is produced to inspire the world towards sustainable mobility. Our team has proven to be successful in the past, winning the Shell Eco-Marathon in 2015, 2022, and having multiple podium wins in almost all years that we participated in. In 2023, we became Guinness World Record holders by driving an astonishing distance of 2488.5 kilometers on less than 1 kilogram of hydrogen! In 2024 we created a street-legal hydrogen-powered car, which means that our car is able to drive on the public road. This year we aim to build a car powered by an externally fired gas turbine, which allows us to test alternative sustainable fuels in the future. With this goal in mind, we continue to drive the future of mobility.
