I was driving home where I live amidst a protest and was accused of being a protestor and my car got impounded, Me and my partner got arrested and also have to go to court in the coming months. Neither of us have gotten a public defender yet, but on top of all that the cops impounded my car when they arrested me. My partner also uses a mobility aid and we NEED the car to get to appointments and such.
