Habitat for Humanity of Collin County is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization who puts God’s love into action by building homes and communities. We are dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide. We encourage positive relationships throughout the community by advocating for fair housing policies and providing training to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat Collin County was incorporated in 1992 with the original name of McKinney Habitat for Humanity, Inc. In 2002, we changed our name to North Collin County Habitat for Humanity to reflect our expanding service area. In 2018, we merged with South Collin County Habitat for Humanity and now function together as one affiliate called Habitat for Humanity of Collin County. We enable families throughout Collin County to achieve the dream of homeownership and dignity.
