About Me
My name is Lisa Ma, a first-year Bachelor of Commerce student at the University of Western Australia, majoring in Business Law through the Assured Pathway to the Juris Doctor. As a proud Australian- Chinese, I am passionate about multiculturalism, youth representation, and advancing equity in society.
I have been deeply engaged in community and political life, including participating in the Y WA Youth Parliament Program, where I delivered a widely viewed adjournment speech addressing cultural stereotyping and tokenistic diversity. I am also an active volunteer in grassroots political campaigns, having doorknocked extensively during the 2025 State and Federal elections for multiple WA Labor MPs.
In addition to my political involvement, I have contributed to cultural organisations such as the Chung Wah Association and the WA Chongqing and Sichuan Association, advocating for cultural inclusion and youth engagement.
