Mentor/Mentee Program Application Spring '26
The UFMPVS Mentor/Mentee connects newer pre-veterinary students with experienced upper-class members to provide guidance, support, and encouragement throughout the pre-vet journey. This initiative is designed to create a welcoming community where students can share experiences, ask questions, and grow together. Mentors offer insight on coursework, gaining veterinary experience, campus involvement, and preparing for veterinary school, while mentees gain a trusted resource and connection within UFMPVS. Through one-on-one connections and group activities during the Spring 2026 semester, participants will build confidence, professional development, and a strong sense of community within the club.

This event has a maximum of 12 volunteers. First come first serve. Date ~ February 27, 2026 (Friday) Time ~ 10 am - 2 pm Address ~ 20307 Co Rd 235A, Alachua, FL 32615 Please wear close toed shoes, clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty, and sun protection. Bring water and food as needed. Attending will fulfill 1 service point. If you agree to carpool, when fulfilled you would get 1/2 a point to go toward your total points of the service requirement. This is a fun way to give back and show love to those who love animals just as much as we do, perfect for all the animal lovers out there! We hope to see you there!đžđ
