. My name is Michael Hawks, and I’m a 17-year-old high school freelance creative based in Minneapolis, MN. I first fell in love with photography when I picked up my mom’s old point-and-shoot camera and started taking pictures and videos. Over the years, I’ve always been passionate about creating—whether it was making short videos on YouTube or capturing moments with friends. In late 2023, I purchased my first camera after saving up all the money I earned working at Chick-fil-A. Not long after, I started taking pictures for my local high school team, and things quickly took off from there.
