Naomi Yangqian Verkerke is a third-year student from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts majoring in Diploma of Illustration Design with Animation. She enjoys conveying messages through her illustrations, animations, and storyboards. Throughout her years of study in NAFA, she participated in group projects and competitions to work better in groups, practice illustration skills, and improve her animation and story making skills. Some recent projects include an exhibition proposal called Play Play Pattern and the 5-Pages Comic Challenge. Recently, Naomi joined media company Advocate Pte Ltd, for her internship module. She managed to pick up a few new skills outside her comfort zone including graphic design and corporate style.
