Pandorea is a band based in Modena (Italy) formed by Sara, Ambra, Giulia, Martina and Silvia. The band has been active since 2016 with more than a hundred acts, counting concerts, radio shows, and festivals. 2018 saw the release of their debut work, “XX”, a concept EP characterized by biting and melodious vocals and instrumentals. In it are six tracks that tell some of the conditions women have to face in today’s society. In March 2023, they released the new EP "Bed of Thorns", a collection of five socially engaged tracks, which deal with topics ranging from the defence of LGBTQIA+ rights to the climate crisis. The sound is far more aggressive, but crowned with a melodic and powerful vocality. In the same year, Pandorea started a deeper experimentation on the Italian language, culminating with the release of "Mare In Tempesta", "Un'Altra Me", "(Dis)fare" and "fari spenti / denti stretti".
