Join OneNJ7 to defeat [R] Rep. Tom Kean. The Ground Truth canvass is: —designed to help Democrats rebuild trust, win tough races, and flip the House. We’re launching an innovative new program that will revolutionize how we connect with voters and potential voters at their doors. At this canvass, we’ll: Knock on every door in the neighborhood, not just the same voters campaigns usually talk to. Have real conversations that listen deeply to voters’ concerns. Gather insights to share with campaigns, so they can be responsive to voters’ needs and smarter with their messaging, targeting, and outreach. Don’t worry if it’s your first time—training, materials, and support are all provided. Just bring comfortable shoes, a charged phone, and your passion for making a difference. Please attend the one hour virtual canvass training on a Friday at 4 PM sometime before this canvass. You can sign up at this website: https://www.mobilize.us/swingleft/event/873173/

Help Local Businesses Support Immigrants
The Trump administration is deploying ICE deep into the hearts of our communities in an effort to spread fear among immigrants. In many places across the country, immigrant families – even citizens – are terrified to go to work, to do their shopping, to go about their lives for fear they may be rounded up by unaccountable masked men. We can and must stand up for immigrants and show that they are essential and welcomed members of our communities. Sign up now to visit local businesses in your neighborhood. Ask the business owners or managers to post signs that declare their support for their immigrant neighbors and opposition to ICE as well as create a private area for employees that ICE cannot legally enter without a signed judicial warrant. These are simple steps that businesses can take to protect their employees from ICE and make all immigrants feel welcome in your community.

What’s the Plan? A Weekly Discussion with Indivisible’s Co-Founders · Indivisible
The onslaught of news, the chaos coming out of the White House – it’s all meant to overwhelm us. It’s a deliberate strategy to sow confusion and make us believe we are powerless to fight back. The antidote: Coming together in community to process what’s happening, to sift through what’s important and what’s just noise, and coalesce around strategies for fighting back. Join Indivisible co-founders Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin each week, as we carve out an hour to discuss what’s happening and – more importantly – what’s the plan.
