Fiscal Year 2026–27 Community Budget Priorities Survey The City of San Gabriel is preparing its Fiscal Year 2026–27 budget. As part of this process, we are seeking community input to help guide funding priorities for the upcoming year. City resources are limited, and not all needs can be funded at the same level. Your feedback will help the City Council understand what matters most to residents, businesses, and community stakeholders. All responses are anonymous and will be reported in aggregate.

Incorporated in 1913, the city's motto is "A city with a Mission" and it is often called the "Birthplace" of the Los Angeles metropolitan area. San Gabriel is named for the Mission San Gabriel Archangel, the fourth of the 21 California missions founded by Father Serra.

The City does not allow vehicles to be parked on the street between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. without a parking permit. Annual parking permits can be obtained from the Finance Department during regular business hours. Temporary parking permits are available for purchase at permit kiosks.
