Ladakh, the paradise, is best known for its breathtaking landscapes, clear sky, highest mountain passes, exhilarating adventure activities, Buddhist temples, and festivals. I haven't been to Ladakh in 7 years. The mountains were calling me and I badly wanted to visit. I didn't hesitate and booked a flight to Leh. I arrived in Leh on the 6th of October and began my journey after two days of rest.

It is claimed that the goddess was incarnated to slay the evil spirit Darikan. Artists, dressed in elaborate costumes and extensive makeup, create quite a visual impact on audiences. The dance, together with the decorations and headgear, is so grand and powerful that it inspires feelings of awe, respect, and even dread.
