My Story

I’m Cydney a wife, mom, and friend who now needs YOUR help. In Dec 2024, I was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease, which caused end-stage kidney failure. On Christmas Eve I learned I needed a kidney transplant to survive.

I’m active on the transplant list, but wait times are 3–5+ years. Dialysis is likely soon, but it’s not living—it’s existing. A living donor would give me a second chance much sooner, with the hope of being here for graduations, weddings, and a long-awaited honeymoon with my husband, Brian—who is also battling cancer.

Despite my illness, I keep working, though fatigue and strict diet restrictions have forced me to step back from volunteering and the life I love. Still, my family and community keep me strong.
