The Thread Docu-Series
The Thread Docu-Series
The Thread is the intersection of culture, content and collaboration, covering the stories of black entrepreneurs, creatives and innovators. The Thread's Origin: While advancing through my MBA entrepreneurial program, I’ve encountered many examples of entrepreneurship through case studies, readings, etc. It soon became apparent there was a lack of media representation regarding black entrepreneurship. This revelation inspired The Thread a docu-series regarding Black Entrepreneurship. The Thread is a docu-series capturing the stories, successes, and challenges of Black creatives, entrepreneurs and innovators. As Marian Wright Edelman stated, “You can’t be what you can’t see”. It is vital we portray positive media representations for future generations, and we must also aspire to inspire the current and older generations. The Thread intends to inform and inspire entrepreneurs globally, specifically those of color.
