What can you expect when you put four metalheads from eastern Finland to the same room? Well here’s the answer: Blackhill! Blackhill from the deep woods of Savo have made their pure-live-energy-based thrash metal since 2016 and have toured since the same moment. Influences can be heard from the old-school thrash metal to punk and Finnish melancholy. The latest release of the band is an EP called “Underground Manifesto” which was released in the summer of 2022. Song “Mustavuori” from the EP also got a music video in late 2022. Earlier releases from the band are Jaakko Teppo -cover Jälkitauti (2021), EP DEMOn (2020) and singles Playground of Burnout and Mad as Possessed (2019). At the moment Blackhill is doing some gigs and working with new material for the upcoming full-length album.
