Chef, entrepreneur, innovator, speaker, and peace leader with over twelve restaurants and bars. He is the creator and founder of the elcielo restaurant chain (Medellín, Bogotá, Miami, and Washington, D.C.), the latter two awarded a Michelin star each. Additionally, he founded La Sere (Mediterranean restaurant), Cuon (Asian), Kai (vegan), Elcielo Classic, AO (Asian Bogotá), Shibari (bar), Aguafresca (Mexican), and Cerdología.
At 34, he was invited as a speaker by former U.S. President Barack Obama to the World Entrepreneurship Summit, one of the world's most important entrepreneurship events.
He has been recognized as the youngest chef in the 50 Best Latin America list three times consecutively, and in 2016, he was part of the exclusive list of The World’s Best Chef.
In 2018, he published his first book titled "La Receta del Éxito" (The Recipe for Success), where he shares the insights that led to his personal and entrepreneurial achievements.
