Live viewing - Dan Miller BBC’s The Apprentice
Live viewing - Dan Miller BBC’s The Apprentice
It was an absolute pleasure to spend the evening celebrating Dan M. as he debuts on BBC ‘s The Apprentice!🎥 Dan has been a personal inspiration of mine for many years now, and has been instrumental in supporting my career journey and providing opportunities to collaborate. The journey of Young Professionals is one I am very passionate about - 5 years ago in 2021 was the first time I interacted with the company and a pivotal moment in my life. It instilled confidence and gave me more opportunities than I believed possible. Fast forward to today, Dan is still passionate about continuously growing young talent and nurturing those he has supported in the past. It is a privilege to have been involved in so many campaigns for YP. Can’t wait to continue watching the journey and growth! #youngprofessionals #theapprentice #danmiller #apprenticeships

🎓 Results Day Alumni Story – Jessica Proctor I applied to five universities and two apprenticeships, all in areas related to Biology. Of these, I was only accepted on to one, a laboratory science apprenticeship at GSK. The grade requirements were a C; however, I only achieved a D in Biology at A-Level. This caused a bit of last-minute panic for me, because I had no university to go to as a back-up (my heart was set on the apprenticeship I had been accepted for), and I wasn’t sure if the apprenticeship would still take me. I emailed explaining my situation and luckily, they agreed to still take me on. Three years later I’m on track for a first-class degree! This is proof that an impressive interview and building up your experience goes a long way, and shows that your grades don’t necessarily indicate what you will be able to achieve later in life. Giving tree 2024
Giving tree 2024
It has been so rewarding to take part in organising the GSK Stevenage giving tree this year, and a privilege to be able to handover hundreds of presents for those less fortunate to the Mayor of Stevenage, Cllr Jim Brown. The photos below show the sheer amount. Taking part in initiatives such as these are so impactful to the wider community, and we are incredibly grateful to anybody who kindly took the opportunity to donate! A huge thank you to Sandrine Atkins for her incredible efforts, Allison Brooke for support, Stevenage Borough Council, Jim Brown and the rest of the team who volunteered and made this possible!
