I was born in Honduras (HN) and raised in the U.S. This cultural duality is a gift that offers a diverse way of approaching challenges. Training as an MD in HN has paved my dedication to creative and feasible solutions for underserved communities. I have navigated this through a multifaceted approach, using public health and medical education research as my armory. My most recent endeavor: cofounding the 1st family med residency in HN as a strategy to empower future leaders in primary care.
