Since 2015, Lambda Literary and the NYC Department of Education have worked together to bring LGBTQ+ writers into classrooms across New York City. The LGBTQ Writers in Schools Program provides critically necessary, safe spaces for students to talk about books, queer life, and how to thrive as an LGBTQ+ person.
