Being a parent with a serious illness, such as cancer, means that families will inevitably face new experiences and challenges they've never had to deal with before. This series of animated comic strips is specifically meant to help young families with a gravely ill parent navigate their uncommon lives. Done in a kid-friendly way, it's intended to create a starting point where parents and their children can have conversations that will prepare them for potential situations they may experience. Follow fictional characters Val Périot (mom), Isabelle (daughter) and Simon (son) as they are faced with new situations and how they deal with their new reality.
