You can visit anytime, but it is highly recommended that you check in with Coach Morris or Coach Kaurich first with the date that you are looking at to make sure they are also available that day to meet you while you are in town

Is there a requirement to live on campus?

Accepted Answer

No, we dont require anyone to live on campus. However, Coach Morris would highly advise that you do for at least the first semester so that you have less to worry about (cooking food, paying rent and utilities, transportation to campus etc.) and you get to know more people outside of the team itself

Are there athletic scholarships available?

No. As an NCAA Division III school we cannot offer athletic scholarships, however, we do have academic and outside scholarships along with a few other unique opportunities such as the Native American tuition waiver for those with certain Native ancestry.

How many players do you want on your roster?

Accepted Answer

We aim for a roster of 26-30 people. This could change in the future, however, Coach Morris believes that this is the ideal roster. Unfortunately, injuries do happen and 26-30 people offers an opportunity to still have 22 players practicing at all times which is important for practicing certain game strategy/tactics, and also to have a full bench with depth on gameday. This also helps create a competitive environment. Only 22 players will travel.

Why Morris?

Family feel community. At Morris you are not a number, you are such an important piece of who we are. You’ll get to know your professors, coaches and others personally, and might find them cheering you on in the stands. Morris itself is a small town with a safe community. While we dont have Walmart and other big shops, we have lots of small family run businesses, so shopping local means helping out a local family. If you want Walmart and more, Alexandria is a 45 minute drive, St Cloud is 1h30, the twin cities are 2h30 away.
