Commit to ONE Pro-Bono Case
The Muslim Legal Support Centre is an access to justice project that was started by the Canadian Muslim Lawyers Association. Apart from other initiatives, we provide warm referrals and connect clients to lawyers who are willing to provide them with 30 minutes of pro bono as well as conduct public legal education sessions. *Commitment -- 2 pro bono summary advice sessions of 30 minutes each. The coordinator receives referral requests and will ask the volunteer lawyer if they are able to provide pro bono summary advice to the client. The lawyer and the client will coordinate an appointment. This form is to collect and record data on those who would like to be involved in our initiatives. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the MLSC. Your commitment to access to justice is greatly appreciated by our team and the communities we serve.
