I am Osama from Gaza, 31 years old.
I got married two years ago, and our wedding was just two months before the war broke out.

On the first day of the war, I learned my wife was pregnant. Work stopped shortly after, and there was no income.
The first famine came, and my pregnant wife had nothing to eat.

My son was born, and he is now one and a half years old. We have been living through so much suffering since the beginning of the war.

I am still jobless, and the occupation makes all things difficult. Visiting family, shopping at the market, or enjoying life’s simple pleasures. 

I wish for a better life for my family, especially my little son, who has not known any life other than this.

Today, I continue to search for work to provide for my family. I have built a new shelter for cats outside of my home, so that they have a safe place to rest each night, and provide them with food.

I am so grateful to all the kind and wonderful people for their courageous support. Thank you all ❤️
