Guardiões do Patrimônio

Os Guardiões do Patrimônio operates as the heritage preservation arm of CAU/SP, implementing cultural programs across São Paulo state since its establishment by the Council of Architecture and Urbanism. The organization manages the PAT Cultural funding mechanism, which supports documentation and research of architectural assets. Through this program, preservation projects receive both technical guidance and financial backing to advance urban heritage initiatives. The initiative coordinates annual grant cycles, including Edital 005/2025, to fund qualified architects, urbanists, and cultural institutions in São Paulo. Selected projects focus on three core areas: architectural documentation, urban memory preservation, and public engagement with built heritage.
