About the Festival

Robinson Art Festival is a student-led exhibition which takes place annually in Cambridge University's Robinson College. It is made up of donated art works as well as submissions, which are welcome from anyone - an affiliation with the college, or the university, is not required. 

This year’s festival will take place on the 6-9th March 2026, and submissions are now open for our theme, ‘Passages.’ Submissions for the festival will close on the 15th February 2026. 

In the run up to the festival, a number of workshops, talks, and screenings will take place. These will all be specific to art curation, and to our theme, and these can be followed via our instagram account. 

Passages

When we chose the theme ‘Passages,’ we imagined it to hold connotations of journeys, of passage through time and life, of rites of passage, and of literal or geographical passages. Beyond this, the theme is flexible, subjective, and open to all interpretation and personal expression in any medium of your choice.
