Celebrating their ten-year anniversary in April 2024, Teesside pop-punk band Set Your Sights has a reputation for their "infectious and upbeat sound." Their blend of pop-punk, alternative rock, and emo is a "winning combination." The band, which has toured the UK, consists of founding Alex and longtime guitarist Roy, who have been fixtures of the Middlesbrough music scene since the early 2000s. Newest recruit, bassist Jamie, joined in July 2024, adding a dynamic the band calls their best work yet. For fans of Blink-182 and Sum 41, their new album, Pieces of Me, is an "instant throwback" that "carries enough freshness to show the band isn’t just living in the past." It "wears its heart on its sleeve," channeling the "scrappy charm" of early 2000s pop-punk with immediate hooks and undeniable energy.
