đ SPREADING THE TEACHINGS TO ACHIEVE THE COLLECTIVE SPIRITUAL AWAKENING OF HUMANITY Bhagavan Sri Shiva Shambho was born on August 15, 1956, in the City of Puebla de los Ăngeles, Mexico. He dedicated his youth to spiritual practices that guided him through mystical experiences, culminating in unity with the Absolute on November 11, 1985: "the entire universe disappeared and only the infinite and eternal Absolute remained. There was no residue of individuality to be aware of it." Since then, he has written books and given lectures to help discern between the «sleeping state» and the «awakened state,» teaching practices that lead from the psychic sleep to the awakening of spiritual consciousness.
