Suffolk County 4-H, a program of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County, empowers young people to become confident, capable, and compassionate members of their communities.

Through engaging, hands-on learning experiences in areas such as agriculture, STEM, leadership, healthy living, and civic engagement, 4-H helps youth develop essential life skills while exploring their interests and discovering their potential. Open to youth ages 5–19, Suffolk County 4-H offers a wide range of clubs, special interest programs, community service opportunities, and events that foster curiosity, responsibility, and a lifelong love of learning.

Enrollment begins in September and October, though new members are welcome year-round. Club availability and fees may vary.

The New York State 4-H Esports Program connects youth through teamwork, strategy, and leadership—both in and out of the game! Participants develop digital citizenship, communication, problem-solving, and STEM skills while exploring career pathways in gaming and technology.

Games and events are hosted on Discord, and youth are expected to use their own gaming equipment to participate. 4-H Esports isn’t just about playing—it’s about growing skills, building community, and fostering positive online experiences. Open to youth ages 13–19 across New York State—no experience needed!
