Kimberly supported my husband and I during our first pregnancy. She helped us navigate the system and point us to different resources to research particular areas we were interested in. Her antenatal sessions were very informative and we were very pleased to have her wealth of knowledge to support us in our first pregnancy. If you’re unsure about the maternity system, and want to understand your options and what’s available to you, Kimberly is the person for you! For us, we wanted to understand the system better and not feel pushed into a corner to make a decision that suited the hospital, but didn’t necessarily suit us.

Kimberly also attended our birth and she gave us support and encouragement where needed. Post birth she supported me whilst the team performed their post birth checks etc and my husband could focus on our new baby girl - something I’d never considered before but it was so nice to know my husband could focus on her and I was being looked after by Kimberly. I am very grateful for Kimberly’s support and guidance and feel that using her ensured we were well versed in our options and as a result had an incredibly positive birth experience too (which seems to happen rather infrequently!).

Postnatally Kimberly was on hand to offer her support and guidance. It was again useful to navigate the midwives and breastfeeding journey. Thank you Kimberly 😊

We worked with Kimberly for both pre- and post-natal support. As a first time mum with a limited family network, I found Kimberly’s help invaluable.

She worked with us through our birth preferences and helped us to plan for a number of scenarios which greatly reduced my anxiety about giving birth. She also helped us think through those early days and what to expect so we felt much more prepared for what was to come.

After our daughter’s arrival Kimberly provided us with a range of post natal support - cooking, childcare and even just a chat and a cuppa to talk through the birth and how I was feeling.

Overall Kimberly made me feel empowered and prepared for my journey into motherhood. She has such a warm and caring approach and I would highly recommend her.

The Birth Doula

I had Kim as my doula as I was on my own and with not many friends and family close by I knew my support network after having a child was quite limited. I would not hesitate to recommend Kim. In the 12 months since having my child, she has been one of my main, if not the main source of support for me using Kim for both physical and emotional support as well as guidance and to vent. My nick name for Kim is 'the baby whisperer' and when I couldn't get my child to sleep anywhere but basically on me, Kim somehow managed it with her magical powers. When I was at hospital with my child at 6 weeks old, the scariest time of my life and feeling very alone Kim rushed to my aid and stayed with me all night and day. I will be forever thankful for that. Kim is a wonderful person and I've enjoyed learning from her, getting to know her and spending time with her and I have appreciated her guidance and voice many a time when I've needed it. X

This was my first pregnancy and didn't know exactly what to expect. Kimberly covered everything that new parents should know pre & post birth. The sessions were so positive and informative and was good having them in home environment. She has such a warm personality and so easy to talk to.
Birth experience – I can’t imagine not having her next to me. I have no close relatives in the UK and it was an absolute must to have someone I trust and knowledgeable with me. Having her there made me feel comfortable and relaxed.
