The food here is amazing! We were looking at the menu outside and the boss man came out to give us some falafels to try! It’s really really good. The lunch deal is quite worth it as well, $19.5 for a pocket, chips and a drink. I tried the kofta one which is not part of the lunch deal. It’s really good, very meaty, not super gamey. It’s really juicy as well. The chips were very good too. It’s the thinner cut so it’s easier to bite, crispy, seasoned really well. The drink which is some sort of lemonade is really refreshing as well. I had a bite of the other ones too. The chicken schnitzel one is good, though I think my favourite one is probably the falafel. Very well spiced, cooked really well, not dry at all. All the pockets are packed to the brim, filled with amazing sauce, and tastes really good as well. I highly recommend this place if you’re feeling for a quick bite. The service is amazing as well, place is really clean, everyone in there super friendly.

A hidden gem in Highett! The Pocket serves up homely, comforting Middle Eastern food that hits the spot. The grilled chicken pocket was beautifully balanced, but the fried cauliflower stole the show—crispy, flavour-packed perfection. And the chips? Absolute heaven. Everything was fresh, delicious, and made with love. The staff were also so friendly- they all seemed just generally glad to share what was on their menu. Can’t wait to go back!

One of our favourite Middle Eastern restaurants! Love the kofta and pita bread especially! Have been many times and will keep coming back! 🥰
