Echoes of the Silk Drum
As children of diaspora, we are echoes of an ancestral culture, an origin point. We trace the path of the 'Silk Drum': through East and South Asia to the Middle East and into Africa – bonded by the ubiquity of rhythm and vibration.
Echoes is a 3-day experience of cultural music stylings, curated by some of the city's brightest! Dance with us on Friday as we kick off the weekend, slow down and sit with us for a Saturday listening session, or grab a chai and chat on Sunday with our lineup of selectors.
These experiential sounds are brought to you by H.A.R.P. (Hi-Fi Aural Research Program), a project by designer Abdul Kauchali. Curated by PATINAPATINA Magazine and hosted at CAPSUL Studio.

We'll see you all very soon ;)
